NetSource P.A. R.

Programs for Asset Recovery

S.M.A.R.T.Surplus inventories are the bane of even the most efficient purchasing and materials management teams. No amount of foresight can predict materials needs to a degree that eliminates the eventual occurance of excess inventory materials. In fact, the industry's rapid pace of technological development and the resulting shortened product life cycles inevitably produce both shortage and excess inventory conditions.

That's why we created the Programs for Asset Recovery. The PAR program provides a reliable, flexible method for OEMs to reduce their surplus inventory levels while maximizing financial recovery of their materials investments, all in a confidential and secure environment.

Turn excess, obsolete and surplus inventory into cash. Our proven PAR program is the perfect solution combining our market intelligence, internal systems, and industry demand to get our clients the highest return on their excess components.

Here's how the program works:

NetSource and the OEM enter into a Bonded Consignment program whereby we act as the sole sales agent for the OEMs surplus materials inventory.

NetSource's PAR team analyzes the inventory and provides a fair market value to the OEM for all resalable materials. The materials are classified as either High Demand, Marketable or Non-Marketable Materials based on current market value assessment.

Non-Marketable materials are recommended for scrapping by either NetSource or the OEM. High Demand and Marketable category materials are delivered to NetSource's warehousing facilities.

NetSource sells the materials and receives a previously agreed upon percentage for all goods sold on behalf of the OEM. Because NetSource is paid based on gross sales dollars, we will inherently attempt to achieve the highest return possible on each transaction. NetSource accepts financial responsibility for the open receivables from each sale. Ownership of the inventory is always maintained by the OEM.

If at the end of a predetermined time frame (usually 90 days) the materials are not sold, the remaining inventory is reassessed by the PAR team, in conjunction with recommendations on further action.

The OEMs public exposure from the transaction is always minimized due to NetSource's strict policy of confidentiality in remarketing the surplus materials.

The OEM receives substantially higher rates of return on the inventory than if it had been disposed of via their traditional channels of surplus materials liquidation.

The entire communication process is streamlined as NetSource assigns dedicated agents to each individual OEMs PAR program.
